REWARDS provides immediate intervention to help your students:

• Decode words containing two to eight word parts.
• Accurately read more multisyllabic words in sentences and in content-area textbooks.
• Read content-area passages accurately and fluently.
• Enhance oral and silent reading fluency.
• Improve comprehension as accuracy and fluency increase.
• Gain greater confidence in their reading ability.

REWARDS stands apart in that it's an intense, short-duration program that requires minimal teacher training, and it works in a variety of settings, including general and special education, remedial reading, summer school, tutoring programs, and others.

REWARDS Training of Trainers for Local-Capacity Building: These two-day training workshops are designed primarily for literacy specialists and for staff development. Participants learn the intricacies of this powerful reading intervention program and leave the workshop prepared to train teachers in their schools/districts to implement REWARDS in their classrooms.
